One of the principal goals of the Society is to identify and preserve Boone-related documents and artifacts. With so much of America’s history being paved over with amusement parks and fast-food restaurants, this is not an easy task, but it is one that our members believe is worth pursuing.

There is a wealth of information available about the colonial and revolutionary periods in which the Boones made their mark. The Society helps researchers identify relevant reference material or establish family links, as the case may be, while sifting fact from fancy. Our growing bibliography of genealogical documentation can be useful to members seeking lineage information.
